Assessment

The initial assessment period will be September to November 2007, following this a shortlist of organisations will undergo further assessment before final decisions are made in December 2007.  Successful organisations will be notified in December 2007.

The Outcome

The final decision will be made by the Trustees in December 2007.  You will receive a letter informing you of the outcome of your grant application.

There are two possible outcomes only for the Creating Change Grant Programme.

  1. Successful – you will receive a letter of offer from the Foundation with Terms and Conditions of grant to be completed and returned to the Foundation.  The Letter of Offer will state the amount of grant, purpose of grant and number of years for which the grant is being offered.
  2. Unsuccessful – you will receive a letter explaining the grant application has been unsuccessful.  It is anticipated that demand will far outstrip supply for this grant programme.  The decision of the Trustees will be final.

Successful Applications

Those successful organisations will be asked to set out agreed milestones for year one, based on the original outcomes in the application form.  These milestones will be reviewed on an annual basis to see how well the project is progressing against the overall outcomes for the project.

Annual details of expenditure will also be reported to the Foundation.  See the Monitoring and Evaluation Requirements downloadable document for further details.

Evaluation

All successful organisations will be asked to participate in the overall evaluation process of the Creating Change Grant Programme.
